Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is looking to fill the role of Maritime Domain Awareness Capability Integrator. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the United States Naval Forces Europe – Africa (CNE/CNA). The successful candidate will provide partners with integration assistance for delivered maritime capabilities while accomplishing the Maritime Support Plan and Maritime Security Cooperation Strategy. This role will support tactical and operational level support to plan and execute activities delivered through the CNE/CNA Security Cooperation enterprise.

Essential Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate assists in planning, resourcing, monitoring, and assessing training and other activities that support maritime capability development for foreign partners in the CNE/CNA areas of responsibility. Work with program managers to deliver maritime security capabilities and develops training, workshops, exercise injects to operationalize new capabilities. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to provide training, mentoring. Provide operational level partner capability assessments and contributes to security cooperation reporting.
  • Generate multi-year training plans including funding strategies
  • Develop operational procedures, focusing on interoperability
  • Provide senior leader security cooperation briefings
  • Develop foreign partner and interagency collaborative relationships

Minimum Qualifications

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with a Masters in a related field; 4 years’ experience with a PhD or JD in a related field; 13 years relevant experience with a HS diploma or equivalent
  • Educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for applicable work experience.
  • Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience
  • Must have secret security clearance
  • Qualified candidates must have fleet operating, planning, and exercise experience
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications and have advanced writing and briefing skills. Candidate will draft and deliver reports for senior officers and executive civilians
  • Must be able to work in a team and individual environment
  • Travel may be required –20-30%

Preferred Requirements

  • USN, USCG, or USMC officer with significant experience in security cooperation and assistance design, planning, execution, monitoring, evaluation, and assessment
  • Experience working in CNE/CNA staff
  • Experience coordinating with foreign partners, other government agencies
  • Experience with public speaking and briefing senior leaders
