Job Description:

We seek an experienced and creative entry-level social media associate to join our team. As a Social Media Associate, you will develop and implement our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales departments. Interpersonal skills are a must as Fortune is an ever-expanding company globally; therefore, you will be experiencing interactions with many different clients and situations, onsite and remotely.

Full time

Responsibilities:

* Create social media posts, monthly newsletters and promotional ads.

* Research industry websites regarding innovations and tools relevant to the solar industry for social media content.

* Assist team with industry conferences and job fairs.

* Update posts to include relevant keywords for search engine optimization.

* Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.

Experience and Skills:

* Proficiency in Hootsuite, Constant Contact, or programs that are similar a must.

* A degree in communication, marketing or social media.

* Prior experience in marketing or social media.

* Some audio/visual knowledge. Familiarity with video editing software. Training provided based on experience.

* Product research, working knowledge of internal data-sheets(ERP)

* Graphical design experience, Photoshop, Canva, or programs that are similar.

* Some blog writing required but not a deal breaker.

* Google Workspace.

* Analytical skills.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.

* Excellent time management skills.
