The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to oversee the development and implementation of a fully integrated marketing strategy across multiple platforms within the organization. This role will have a diverse range of responsibilities that will require the collaboration with multiple companies to deliver efficient and timely marketing work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies for the organization across multiple platforms (business services, energy, industrial, etc.)
  • Create campaigns, digital marketing, and public relations for a wide range of new and existing products and services
  • Understand what aspects of messaging and content are effective within the business services, energy, and/or industrial fields and leverage that to prioritize the overall strategy
  • Develop, manage, and design layouts of communications such as presentations, newsletters, brochures, etc...
  • Work closely with the product management teams to define marketing materials and program
  • Perform writing, copywriting, editing and proofing of marketing materials, web content, advertising and social media
  • Collaborate with the company’s sales teams; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Direct programs amongst companies to improve social media presence
  • Inform and educate staff on marketing best practices

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; plus
  • 5-10 years marketing experience, preferably in the business services, energy, and/or industrial sectors
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in MS Office (PPT, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects and prioritize appropriately
  • Network of marketing professionals who can be brought in for contract work as needed
  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff
