Job description
The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to oversee the development and implementation of a fully integrated marketing strategy across multiple platforms within the organization. This role will have a diverse range of responsibilities that will require the collaboration with multiple companies to deliver efficient and timely marketing work.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies for the organization across multiple platforms (business services, energy, industrial, etc.)
- Create campaigns, digital marketing, and public relations for a wide range of new and existing products and services
- Understand what aspects of messaging and content are effective within the business services, energy, and/or industrial fields and leverage that to prioritize the overall strategy
- Develop, manage, and design layouts of communications such as presentations, newsletters, brochures, etc...
- Work closely with the product management teams to define marketing materials and program
- Perform writing, copywriting, editing and proofing of marketing materials, web content, advertising and social media
- Collaborate with the company’s sales teams; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
- Direct programs amongst companies to improve social media presence
- Inform and educate staff on marketing best practices
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; plus
- 5-10 years marketing experience, preferably in the business services, energy, and/or industrial sectors
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in MS Office (PPT, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects and prioritize appropriately
- Network of marketing professionals who can be brought in for contract work as needed
- Confident, driven and dynamic leader
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff
