Description
This position serves the marketing and recruitment needs for the School of Engineering. It reports jointly to the School of Engineering and Digital Strategy and Marketing (DSM) within University Relations. This position develops and implements a comprehensive and strategic marketing and recruitment plan for the School - assisting in the production of web, print, video and other media with the aim of increasing enrollment for both undergraduate and graduate programs. This position serves as a team member on the DSM to ensure the School of Engineering campaigns are in sync with larger campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Management:
  • Create, execute and optimize multimodal marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the School of Engineering and its various Departments and majors among prospective undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Ensures campaigns are meeting established goals and benchmarks and remain on budget.
  • Oversees asset creation and production for marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinates with DSM and Media Relations team to plan, implement and deliver marketing assets and services.
  • Assist in developing advertising concepts and giving design feedback.
CRM and Marketing Cloud project management:
  • Supports and manages projects pertaining to marketing systems, including but not limited to customer relationship management (CRM), email marketing, and analytics.
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Regular reporting of metrics to school leadership and DSM team. Creates and reviews reports and analytics related to marketing campaign goals. Makes recommendations regarding the success or failure of plans and promotions.
Manages Recruitment Strategy:
  • Aids School and Departments in developing recruitment strategies.
  • Prepares presentations for high schools, community colleges and universities to encourage and promote enrollment.
  • Coordinates campus visits for interested student groups, community organizations, high schools, universities and community colleges.
  • Helps to schedule and organize student recruitment events and activities on or off campus; in some cases may also attend those events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

(Annual Salary Range: $47,665 - $65,000)


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong teamwork skills, detail oriented, Marketing automation experience preferred.
