As a Marshall at Edgewood Tahoe, you are responsible for all duties related to the operation of the starting of golfers on the first tee and any guest relations on the golf course during their round of golf. Essential Functions:
- Opening duties include preparing the first tee area for golfers
- Ensure the golf carts have been properly stocked by the cart staff with bottled water with ice on top, a new scorecard with the Edgewood logo facing out, pencil on the right side of the steering wheel with logo facing out, two clean towels and two full sand and seed bottles
- Assist golfers loading golf bags onto the golf carts.
- Manage the first tee ensuring that you communicate golf course amenities, GPS operation, location of course yardages, pin positions, snack bar, speed of play and cart path rules in a timely manner.
- Monitor speed of play and address any issues. Inform the Marshal Supervisor and Golf Shop Staff of problems or potential problems.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the first tee, driving range and golf course. Including tee boxes, restrooms, trash receptacles, and sand & seed stations.
- Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
