Job Description: Mason

We are seeking a skilled mason to join a team. You must have a keen eye for detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with a variety of masonry tools and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and design of structures
• Build, repair, and maintain structures using a variety of masonry materials such as brick, concrete, and stone
• Apply weatherproofing materials to structures to ensure durability
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal apprenticeship or certification in masonry or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a mason
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Knowledge of masonry materials and techniques
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

• West Jordan, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
