Position Overview:

The Master Scheduler is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of the production schedule in support of the predetermined customer needs, i.e.; purchase order requirements, as well as any modifications and/or revision as a result of negotiations with customer production schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with customer requirements and scheduling as they pertain to control of internal production flow and customer required deliveries
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize daily workload based on customer demands
• Facilitate daily ship meetings in support of customer requirements and communicate delivery dates to responsible departments
• Manage, facilitate and communicate customer expectations that are outside the realm of original contractual agreements
• Ability to communicate with customers, internal personnel and suppliers to promote awareness and requirements to support customer demands
• Other duties may be assigned as directed by the Production Control Manager or Director of Operations

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 year production control experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Production control experience in an aerospace environment
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience with MRP, MRPii and/or Pull Systems

Work Environment:

• Working conditions are normal for that of both an office and manufacturing/machine shop environment
• The environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and vapor from coolant, etc. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.
