What will you be doing?
As the Matchday Video Editor you’ll be providing video editing support to the Audio Visual team at all first team matches. The role will involve editing footage of the match and surrounding material (such as interviews or off-field clips) for the club’s digital output.
Please note – this is a matchday only, casual role based at St Mary’s Stadium.
Is this you?
You have a passion for high quality editing and love football. Ideally you have previous experience editing sport and are proficient at working quickly to ensure tight deadlines are met.
This role requires flexibility with working hours.
Essential Experience:
- A portfolio of high-quality editing examples.
- A strong understanding of sport broadcast principles and football principles.
Essential Skills:
- Experience using professional editing software, preferably either Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro.
- Experience in handling video editing briefs and proactively working with clients on them.
- Exceptional people skills with experience in developing creative ideas alongside a client.
- Good time management skills.
- Positive approach with a hardworking ethic.
- Flexible in terms of working hours.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Hold a degree in Video Production (or similar), or be working towards one.
