Position Summary

Mill Creek Machining (MCM), a CMT company, is seeking a Material Handler for our Paullina, IA location. The Material Handler ensures the accurate receiving of material from suppliers, safe movement/storage of materials/parts, product assembly, and preparation of products for shipment. *This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00am-5:00pm. Pay starts at $17.67 per hour.*

*Our machine shop is 100% climate controlled!*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads material and parts with an industrial lift truck ensuring material/part quality and quantities are accurate.
• Ensures that materials and parts that are moved within the facility are marked, packaged, and identified.
• Assembles parts according to published assembly drawings and processing instructions.
• Accurately and securely package parts for shipment as instructed per the pack list and shipping packaging guidelines.
• Supports team members with emptying chip tubs and trash containers as needed throughout the workday.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to inspect products and materials to meet the established quality and quantity specifications.
• Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to stand in one position for long periods of time and frequent bending/twisting. The ability to consistently lift 50 pounds throughout the shift is required.
