Position Summary
- Operates a forklift to ensure production lines are stocked with materials
- Informs supervisor of any/all shortages and possible substitutions
- Follow schedules and ensures that schedules are completed on time and correctly
- Ensure the production line has the correct parts/materials to maintain product flow
- Inform the supervisor/group leader of any problems or quality defects
- Maintain a clean work area
- Work within and promote a team atmosphere among co-workers
- Must be willing to work in other areas to support production
Perform other tasks or duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to read work instructions and other work documents
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Must possess good communication skills
- Be detail-oriented
- Be safety conscious
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Be a certified forklift operator, or capable of successfully completing the company's forklift certification course
- Must work well with others.
