Division Description:
Since 1984, the Valley Packaging Division has been providing our customers with quality, service, performance, and innovation. With our new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and our in-house design staff, we can handle all customer corrugated packaging needs.

Position Overview:
Masterial Handler /Forklift Operaor - load and unload trailers and or our conveyor systems. May require some loading and unloading by hand and check that the material and count is correct.

Responsibilities:
Follow all safety, quality and production procedures.
Teamwork effort and involvement in order to meet production goals.
Drive forklift safety to load and unload items from trailer and or our conveyor system.
Load and unload items by hand when required
Transport units from bander line to storage or designated area.
Responsible for proper placement of units on skids and or in the the warehouse
Receives miscellaneous goods and transports to designated storage / area
Check for correct/proper material and accurate count, record inventory movement using scanning system and perform cycle counts.
Assist bander with banding load
Charges tow motor in a safe and efficient manner when needed.
Fill out daily forklift checklist and trailer inspection
Responsible for turning in the bill of ladings to supervisor for proper filing (if applicable)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment through a "clean as you go attitude."

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
6 month in production environment, preferably in corrugated box plant.
Certified forklift
Able to communicate with team members
