Job description

The Medication Assistant is responsible for medications, treatments and resident care duties as assigned by the Administrator or Health Care Coordinator. This position administers medications according to acceptable standards. The Med Tech engages in the practice of nursing within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act under the guidance and delegation of a licensed Registered Nurse. If appropriate, answers questions of residents and their family members. Insures that the medication area is kept clean. Caregiver is responsible for helping an assigned number of residents with their activities of daily living and assisting the assisted living supervisor with supplies, preparation and appropriate charting.

This position is trained as combination Med Tech / Caregiver. Fully Vaccinated or in process of being fully Vaccinated applicants only need apply. Must pass criminal background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
