Media Specialist

The Media Specialist - Photographer/Videographer/Producer serves as a visual storyteller to inform, engage, and educate a wide array of audiences through multiple digital platforms. A key part of the AFN Communications team, this position is responsible for creating and developing multimedia content, will oversee all aspects of the AFN's video production process, including planning, shooting, editing, and uploading video for a wide variety of social media distribution channels. The position also serves as the AFN's primary photographer. This position reports to the AFN Directors and exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage production of all video and print pieces from conception to completion
Produce designs that are both original and from Rush's branded templates.
Provide art direction for AFN photo and video shoots.
Develop and maintain electronic templates for frequently needed materials: e.g., signage, flyers, newsletters.
Work with AFN Content Specialist to identify design needs and ensure message consistency.
Maintenance of digital asset library
Collaborate with AFN Leadership to provide creative solutions to support AFN strategic priorities.
Maintain good interpersonal relationships, both in the immediate office and with community partners.
Develop new & revamp existing AFN marketing graphics & promotional materials.
Collaborate with AFN Content Specialist to expand social medial strategy (i.e., Podcasts, YouTube series / weekly health tips videos).

Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience
Excellent design skills and strong knowledge of graphic and video production processes.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent teamwork skill
Proficiency in of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products.
Be able to successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to collaborate with diverse customers and colleagues.
Ability to work independently.
Must be willing to work occasional weekends as needed.
Must have reliable transportation.
