The Medical Assistant has a critical role that serves as the company’s first impression to all our patients and visitors. This person is passionate about patient care, especially in the mental health industry, and is driven to go above and beyond for their patients with the mission to deliver the best possible experience. We're looking for energetic and organized individuals who have experience managing multiple priorities and handling unexpected situations.

Responsibilities:

This position Requirements Education/Experience:

• CMA Required
• CPR / BLS certified
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to Multitask
• Team Player
• Comfortable with daily office and administrative duties
• Previous Medical Billing/Medical Coding experience is a plus but not required

Duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Greet Patients during check-in and check out
• Answer incoming calls, faxes, and emails
• Take detailed messages for the medical staff
• Take Vitals
• New patient In-take (gather information)
• Provide each patient with excellent, personalized service
• Scheduling appointments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
