Benton County Health Services is seeking Medical Assistants (MA) to join the team!
Job Summary
Medical Assistants assist health care providers deliver primary care to clients of the Community Health Center by preparing patients for physical exams, recording health information, collecting specimens, performing screening tests, and performing administrative/clerical duties related to the patient care process. MA's work in a patient centered, team based care delivery model serving a diverse patient population. This position provides support to proactive patient care and care coordination.

These positions may be assigned to any of our six health centers in Alsea, Corvallis, Lebanon, Monroe, and Sweet Home. These positions are temporary, part-time, not to exceed 1040 hours worked in a fiscal year. Work shifts to be determined with candidate and business needs respectively.
Training schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for four to six weeks.

Minimum Qualifications
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
- Technical Training beyond high school in Medical Assisting or a directly related field that allows for a State or Federal recognized medical assistant certification; AND
- One year of work experience.
- Must have or be able to obtain State or Federal recognized medical assistant certification within the first 6 months of employment.

- Training and skill to be able to administer immunizations to patients of all ages.
