We are partnered with a local organization that is seeking to bring in an additional medical biller to the team!

• Bill claims to appropriate insurance carrier which includes the understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and Revenue Codes.
• Reviews and resolves claim with missing information accounts
• Ability to communicate with patients, insurance companies, MD offices, and internal departments in a professional manner.
• Reviews and resolves credit balances.
• Files adjustments, grievances or appeals as appropriate.
• Denial management – reviewing insurance vouchers to determine resolution of denials. Informing the Director of any patterns in denials.
• Responsible for AR Aging of assigned accounts by ensuring accounts not aging past 90 days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Medina, NY 14103: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• ICD-10: 3 years (Preferred)
• Medical billing: 3 years (Required)
• Accounts receivable: 3 years (Required)
