Our integrated approach to team-based care makes us a preferred provider for health and wellness in The Columbia River Gorge. We offer a range of services that include medical, dental and behavioral health (mental health and substance use) as well as education and outreach programs.
The Medical Director works in collaboration with leadership to align medical services with One Community Health’s strategic initiatives and is responsible for coordinating services with dental and behavioral health to ensure whole person care. The Medical Director is responsible for leadership and management of the provider group and also performs clinical and direct care responsibilities approximately 50% of their schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with current Oregon MD or DO licensure and DEA license in good standing
- At least five (5) years professional clinical experience in family practice
- Five (5) years of managerial experience with strong leadership abilities and partnering with senior leaders in medical setting or health insurance organization
- Direct experience in performance improvement and utilization management including data management preferred
- Successful relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications:?
- Spanish/English bilingual
- Experience in a community or migrant health center (FQHC) setting, including experience with practice management systems.
