Job Description
The Learning and Development Systems Management and Technology has responsibility for the daily operation of the US Medical Learning Management System (LMS), SharePoint site(s) and/or webpages, and functional support of other technologies/systems that support the US Medical Excellence Learning and Development systems.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives
- Review new hire and termination reports from Workday
- Manage the Workday feeds to confirm new joiners have been created and proper new hire assignments are auto-assigned correctly.
- Create and manage document workflows in LMS, which includes creating, modifying, or retiring items in the LMS as required
- Align SOPs to Job Roles
- Ensure functionality of the LMS in areas of registration, notification, administration of training operations, assessments, etc.
- Provide LMS support for L&D colleagues, including launching eLearning programs, piloting and testing new or revised courses, managing requirements and qualifications, and on-going course technical support.
- Provide training on the use of the LMS.
- Publish and archive online or blended learning solutions, assign training curricula, and adds and removes resources.
- Provide timely response to learner questions and issues
- Manage reports to monitor compliance of mandatory trainings.
- Provide input on change control processes related to training.
- Proactively manage training availability communications during LMS upgrades or issues
- Work with the IT department to manage the training content delivery, security audits and other project work as required.
- Represent US Medical for any LMS meetings or requirements.
- Track, manage and complete regular audits of learning assignments to ensure appropriate GxP and non-GxP (where applicable) trainings as assigned to learners based on role. Work with the function document owner of SOPs to ensure relevance and retire documents as needed
- Develop and manage relevant SharePoint sites or webpages as needed
- Support and manage other Learning and Development related systems and technologies for US Medical as needed
- Recommend future SAP enhancements for L&D initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects and participate in various work-related committees.
- Resolve training and system issues ad hoc
- Process vendor supplied training documentation
- Support audit requests for training reports
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Management Information Systems
- Experience with Workday or Enterprise level LMS
- LMS administrative experience
- SharePoint and Website development experience
- SAP knowledge and experience
- Intermediate HTML programming experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- Some programming experience, advanced HTML experience
- Basic understanding of Assessment Management/Testing
- Basic understanding of collaboration tools, for example Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of education/training products, for example Articulate, BrainShark

This position is currently classified as "remote" in accordance with Takeda's Hybrid and Remote Work policy.
Base Salary Range: $102,200 to $146,000, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees may also be eligible for Short-term and Long-Term Incentive benefits as well. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program and Paid Volunteer Time Off.
