Title: Medical Laboratory Technician, I Float
Responsibilities:
- Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.
- Reading multiple telemetry monitors and Reports all cardiac rhythm changes to nursing &/or physician
- Troubleshooting alarms and adjust if indicated, with consultation of nursing &/or physician
- Remaining at central monitoring station unless otherwise directed by Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager or designee
- Documenting cardiac rhythm in EMR
- Ensuring all patients ordered for a telemetry monitor are on a monitor frequently.
- Appropriately perform phlebotomy and EKG’s as needed
- Collect and labels specimens, at patient's bedside
