Responsibilities include:
- Treats patients warmly ensuring check in/check out of all patients using the software.
- Initiate & maintain a regular line of communication between providers and office staff on patient status, arrivals, workflow, and next steps.
- Confirms and schedules patient appointments, as well as cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduling requests.
- Process non-insurance billing and/or credit applications
- Maintain cleanliness of examination rooms using clinical procedures and ensure exam rooms are supplied appropriately.
- Ensures all patients fill out and sign appropriate documents and consents for the procedures they are receiving, inputting the data into Salesforce.
- Ensures all patients sign appropriate consents for the procedures they are receiving.
- Keeps track of inventory and orders supplies for adequate support of the office
- Performs all opening/closing procedures according to the assigned duties.
- Is accountable for facility maintenance and cleanliness.
- Assist providers as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
- Medical receptionist: 1 year preferred
- Ability to stay organized and proactive in a fast-paced environment
- US work authorization required
- High school diploma is required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Schedule:
- 1 to 2 – 10-hour workdays per week (10 to 20 hours/week). No nights.
- Weekend availability, though weekend work is not currently planned
