Medical Office Manager
Job description
Busy dermatology practice is looking for a full-time, experienced, medical office manager. The manager will be responsible for overseeing our Lynbrook location.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee team members
- Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
- Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
- Oversee all inventory, supply ordering, and document all operational expenses
- Manage daily operations of the office which includes daily decision making, patient interactions, scheduling, forecasting, and paying operational bills
- Manage staff and doctor work schedules
- Conduct team member oversight, including recruiting, onboarding and training, creating work schedules, etc
- Investigate and resolve any issues brought to your attention by the staff or upper management
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in the healthcare industry
- 3+ years managing a team
- Proven prior success in a supervisory capacity
- Communication skills and a customer service orientation
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle medical records discreetly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
