Family Foot Care of Long Island, PLLC is a small business podiatry practice with locations in Port Jefferson Station, Moriches and Sayville, NY.

Employees will be required to work in all three locations, but not more than one location on the same day. We offer a professional, fast-paced and challenging work environment.

Our private medical office is actively seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position should be able to greet patients, collect copayments and direct patients to the appropriate medical professional. A medical receptionist will also be responsible for entering insurance information into the practice's computer system and documenting collection of patient payments. The successful candidate will have at least one year of related experience and should have a high level of computer competency and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: * Maintain patient scheduling. * Answer the phone and direct calls appropriately. * Fill out forms and documents in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. * Schedule patient appointments. * Be able to work with medical insurance. *Clean office in accordance with COVID-19 protocols.

Note that half days on Saturdays are required, as well as two evenings per week. Evenings typically end between 8:00pm and 9:00pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
