Company Overview: Job Description:

A Medical Scheduler handles incoming referral for new claims sent over by our Insurance clients. Upon being assigned, the scheduler is responsible for the claim from start to finish and communicates with the client, the claimant/attorney, and the provider's office to make sure the scheduled exams happen without issue. Throughout the life of the claim, emails, issues, concerns, and additional information will be sent over that will need to be handled promptly. At times, this may require cancelling or rescheduling appointments and/or working with the client on specific deadlines.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within this particular field. They will rely on training and pre-established guidelines to perform the necessary functions of the position as each client we work with has specific protocols that must be followed. The goal is to provide excellent customer service to our clients while making sure all parties involved are notified of upcoming appointments.

Job Functions:

• Schedule any assigned claims timely within each client's listed contracted timeframe
• Communicate with all parties involved in a thorough and timely manner
• Answer incoming calls promptly and handle inquiries
• Resolve any problems or issues that may arise quickly and in a professional manner

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in the field or related area, preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt/respond to different type of circumstances
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, strong phone handling skills and active listening; scheduling experience is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and have attention to detail
