Medical Support Specialist - HSSC Riverton

• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm
  • Hybrid (remote and in-person) schedule
• Pay: $16 hourly

The Medical Support Specialist Role and How You WILL Make a Difference

The Medical Support Specialist will work with a dynamic team to provide exceptional care at the Highland Springs Specialty Clinic (HSSC). They works under the supervision of a Family Nurse Practitioner and clinic manager and provides medical services to the employees and dependents of all ages and diagnosis of HSSC. Specific duties include:

• Provides exceptional direct care duties including intakes, scribing, documentation, prescriptions, and referral
• Facilitates communication between clinic staff, patients, and anyone else involved in the coordination of care
• Performs administrative duties including scanning, faxing, answering phones, scheduling, and general patient coordination
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment

For this role and program, we are looking for someone who has

• High School Diploma
• MA/CNA experience (Preferred)
