Title: RN Medical Surgical RN
Shift:
Fulltime Days 7:00am - 7:00pm - 3X12's
Fulltime Nights 7:00pm- 7:00 am- 3 X12's
Job Summary
The Med Surg RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for unit patients.
- Plan, implement, revise and delegate nursing care
- Perform necessary technical skills as delineated through education, expertise, and unit requirements
- Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
6 South is a fast-paced 23-bed acute medical/surgical unit. You will provide care to a diverse adult patient population, including ortho, diabetic, bowel, NG tubes, wounds, and simple surgeries.
Qualifications:
- BSN Required
- Texas RN license or compact license is accepted
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Must have at least one (1) year of Recent Med-Surg RN experience in an acute care hospital
