*The most important factor is this is a Medicare field sales experience, NOT call center sales. They have to have Medicare sales experience, field sales experience and Community/Provider marketing experience. (In-person presentations)

General characteristics of agent
2-5 years of Medicare insurance sales experience

• Licensed Health Insurance Agent
• Ideally licensed to sell and contracted and Ready-to-Sell (RTS) with multiple Medicare carriers
• Experienced selling Medicare products (e.g., MAPD, DSNP, PDP, Med-Supp, and senior ancillary products)
• Skilled at doing face-to-face selling as well as remote selling using an online enrollment tool (training provided for the online tool)
• Able to do on-site educational and sales events at locations in their community
• Able to work within compliance of all Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) federal regulations

General characteristics of job and role

• Must have ability to work in a retail store 3 days a week for 6 hours
• Must have reliable transportation to get to each of 6 different stores where they will work
• Must be able to contract with Aetna MAPD and Silverscript
• Has suitable band-with to work-from-home
• Sources of leads:
• Agent will respond to inquiries from prospective beneficiaries while in store
• Agent will receive leads from employers
• Agent may receive online/web/direct mail leads
• Agent will conduct marketing and lead generation activities in their community (training and guidance provided by Sales Manager)

- Light lifting required (15 – 20 pounds)

The Medicare Sales Agent will be an ambassador for the CVS Health brand and serve as a trusted advisor representing multi-carrier Medicare products within their assigned territory, receiving corporate lead support as well as engaging in community event activity to generate leads and referrals.

Fundamental Components/Job Description

• Sells and promotes Medicare products by coordinating and delivering formal sales presentations to individuals and consumer groups, arranging private consultations at retail or in the customer’s home or venue of choice, and making outbound phone calls to prospects.
• Follows up on new sales leads, referrals, and conducts own prospecting and lead generation activities.
• Qualifies and educates prospective members on product, pricing and services, and facilitates enrollment.
• Identifies opportunities to educate about the Medicare journey and its products within the assigned territory through relationship building with contracted medical providers, senior organizations, and other community leaders.
• Identifies and pursues opportunities to cross-sell value-added ancillary products such as critical illness, hospital indemnity, and dental and vision coverage.

Salary: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
