Corporate America Family Credit Union, a full service, nationwide credit union with over $800 million in assets is seeking a Member Solutions Specialist (Collection Officer) for our Elgin, IL location.

Our employees work five days a week with no weekends! Plus, 11 paid Holidays!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collecting on delinquent loans from 15-180 days past due
• Type of loans include: Personal Loans, Auto Loan, Credit Cards, 1st Mortgage, Home Equity
• Processing and reviewing Chapter 7 & 13 Bankruptcies, Filing Proof of claims and Reaffirmation Agreements
• Handling of repossessions and auction transfers
• Interacting with attorneys for collection account, bankruptcies
• Recommending foreclosures
• Processing charge off account and forwarding to outside vendor/attorney
• Educating members and finding solutions to place them in a better financial situation

Requirements:

• College Degree or minimum 3 years experience in credit/collections
• Must possess excellent judgment, reasoning, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.25 - $21.63 per hour
