Sunridge Assisted Living & Memory Care of Roy is looking for a fun, creative, hard working individual to join our caregiving team as our new Memory Care Activity Aide.

The schedule for this position does vary, and will be Part Time!

Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing life enrichment activities for our residents
• Encouraging residents to participate in group activities
• Spending time with residents one on one to optimize their full potential for independent living
• Conducting or overseeing the scheduled activities and ensuring they have all supplies needed for each activity
• Tracking attendance of residents at activities

Requirements:

• Possessing the ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with families, residents, the community, administration, and outside services is crucial
• Experience working with seniors
• Be a self-starter
• Possess a love for the elderly
• Be creative in their planning and executing of activities
• Have a positive and compassionate attitude
• Perform all duties given them as assigned by the Administrator
• Experience with dementia is preferred but not required

A Background Check, Food Handlers Permit, TB Test, and CPR certification are required upon hire.
