Mental Health Clinical Supervisor - $20K Loyalty Incentive

This position is eligible for a $20,000.00 Loyalty bonus paid out in installments!* Relocation reimbursement available for qualifying candidates!
Position Duties:
1. Clinical Services
· Demonstrate competence in treatment planning, case management and coordination, utilization of community resources, group, family, and individual therapy or counseling.
· Demonstrate the ability to conduct an assessment including histories of mental and physical health, substance use, past mental health services and criminal justice contacts, assessing family, cultural, social and work relationships.
· Development of treatment plan and ability to provide diagnosis consistent with DSM-5.
· Perform individual and group treatment sessions, as needed, as well as delegate these functions to appropriate clinical staff.
· Promote integrated treatment services through coordination with mental health, substance use, and medical treatment service providers.
· Work closely with the Program Director on program development to improve quality of services being provided
· Complete documentation within agency stated timelines.
- Complete training/certification required to perform mental health crisis work and may be asked to be a part of the MH crisis rotation.
2. Clinical Supervision
- Provide direct, day-to-day supervision and performance monitoring over mental health program staff members
· Demonstrate competence in leadership, wellness, oversight and evaluation of services, and staff development.
· Provide clinical supervision to program staff and document supervision for each program staff in accordance with Oregon Administrative Rules. This includes at least two hours per month per direct care staff, one of which MUST be individual supervision. Additional supervision should be provided if staff needs additional assistance, education, training, or support.
· Assist in conducting annual performance evaluations of program staff.
· Assist with chart and program audits to ensure compliance with facility accreditation, licensing, State laws, and other regulatory requirements.
· Periodically review documentation of team members to ensure quality.
· Provide licensure supervision if qualified.
3. Leadership and Administrative
· Work closely with other program staff as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
· Be familiar with OARs and ORSs related to outpatient behavioral health programming including service delivery and documentation
· Stay abreast of guidelines and requirements (including OARs and ORSs) for CSS programs such as Supported Employment, Supported Housing.
· Remain dedicated to a healthy work environment for the benefit of employees and clients served.
· Maintain robust and effective collaboration with other BestCare and Brooks programs.
· Develop strong collaborative relationships with community partners.
· Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively, model good communication skills, act independently, and problem solve complex issues.
· Maintain professionalism and confidentiality per HIPAA, 42 CFR, Oregon Statutes, and BCTS Policies.
· Attend required program meetings, trainings, and Clinical Supervision designated by Program Director
4. Other duties as assigned by Program Director
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, behavioral science, or related field, required
· Experience providing services to individuals with Severe and Persistence Mental Illness (SPMI), preferred
· At least 2 years experience in the behavioral health field is required. At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity in behavioral health is preferred.
· Licensure preferred, but not required.
· Ability to develop strong collaborative relationships, demonstrate good communication, and flexibility is a must. Ability to work effectively in a variety of cultural contexts.
· Knowledge of strength-based and trauma-informed interventions, as well as other evidenced based practices.
· Understanding and competency serving individuals that present with complex co-occurring mental health, substance use, and/or medical disorders.
· Must be able to get along with co-workers and promote a safe, healthy work environment.
Tools and Equipment Used:
Must have competency using computer for work processing, databases, internet, and electronic medical record usage. Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus. Must be able to use basic office equipment including fax machine and telephone. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Work Environment:
The work environment will primarily be in clinic, but may require occasional outside travel.
The position requires the employee to dress in a professional manner that meets the standards for professional employees in Central Oregon and BestCare Treatment Services.
*Bonus payment of $20,000 for a 2-year service agreement. Bonus payment of $10,000 for a 1-year service agreement

Pay: $35.00 - $45.92 per hour
