What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
- Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage, and Family Therapy or other related mental health field
- Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
- Valid California Driver's License.
- Bilingual- English/Spanish- must pass in-house test.
- First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross
- Knowledge of Community Resources, especially related to the Mental Health field, is highly desirable to make appropriate linkages.
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen and criminal record test.

Oasis Community Services is a program of Stars Behavioral Health Group, an organization that has been dedicated to serving clients with mental health challenges with the highest dignity and quality of service. Oasis provides children and families with access to effective behavioral health services, with the goal of promoting wellness and resiliency and maintaining family relationships to encourage healthy emotional development. We support parents and caregivers to help them deal with the challenges they might face personally and as a parent. We work with children at home, at school and in the community so they are equipped to manage their past experiences in a healthy way. Job responsibilities include ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents, parents, foster parents, care takers, schools, other staff, physicians, county agencies, other health care providers, and the public. Demonstrated understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment. Demonstrated organization and management skills.
Demonstrated CSI skills, understanding and knowledge of community services and county agencies preferred. Ability to develop ongoing relationships with referral sources and interface with County Mental Health Departments and Educational Districts.

- Centers provide outpatient mental health services to children and their families.
- Working with children of all ages, at home, at school and in the community
- Services include:
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family counseling
- Case management
- Rehabilitative/Skill building services
- Medication management and support
