The Hudson Valley Center for Development - a rapidly growing, Mt. Sinai associated mental health group specializing in counseling and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults & families - is seeking a preclicensure mental health counselor or LMSW for a post-Masters Fellowship opportunity in our New Windsor, NY offices. The candidate should hold (or will soon hold) a master's degree in mental health counseling or social work from an accredited New York state MHC or social work program. The fellow will earn their NYS license (LMHC or LCSW) while treating clients under the supervision of one of our experienced mental health counselors, social workers or psychologists. Future full time employment in the group as a credentialed LMHC or LCSW is a goal of the program. The Center is located in Orange County, New York - 45 miles north of New York City - near the Storm King Art Center and scenic Storm King Mountain. The Center has a focus in child & adolescent counseling, though many adult clients will also be seen. The Hudson Valley Center for Development has a broad based psychodynamic orientation and long term treatment philosophy, though cognitive behavioral, strengths based, and family systems models of treatment are also practiced by the clinical staff. Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
Clinicians see clients at the Center in person and via teletherapy, depending on the request of the client. PPE and covid protocols are utilized for in office counseling.
