What will you be doing?
We are looking for an individual to manage the delivery of Messaging Services Projects within the UK and across Northern Europe. You will be a key contact in the UK for Messaging Services which includes SMS (serving 22m subscribers), MMS, Voicemail (serving 12m subscribers) and IP Messaging evolution
Working with remote teams across Europe and in partnership with vendors, you will define, design and implement solutions in the area of Messaging Services to cope with evolving customer requirements or changes in technology.
As the Spirit of Vodafone suggests you will help to `Create the Future` in driving Messaging Services features and platform evolution inside the European Region through harmonization & hosting projects, in cooperation with other Vodafone OpCos.
Key to your success will be the ability to drive cross functional projects in line with UK and Group Strategies within the commercial and security constraints and guidelines.
Who are we looking for?
A broad knowledge of telecoms technologies and Core Networks will be essential.- Value Added Services, Network Function Virtualization and expertise in Messaging Services is highly beneficial but candidates with a broad understanding of Networks in the UK will be considered. Your ability to upskill and take guidance from the Engineers in the team will be key.
- Ability to understand marketing needs, customer requirements and reference market evolution and exposure to managing complex and inter functional projects also essential.
