We are currently seeking Mid-Level Software Development Analyst to support our DoD customer.

Location: Primary Fort Meade, Maryland/Secondary Contractor Site

Start Date: Estimated June 2023

Clearance: Top Secret/SCI

Key Responsibilities:

• Serves as subject matter analyst, possessing in-depth knowledge of a particular area, such as business, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the various sciences.
• Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
• Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
• Applies principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task order requirements, advanced mathematical principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications to arrive at automated solutions.
• Provides expertise on an as-needed basis to all task assignments.
• Provides expert advice and assistance in state-of-the-art software and hardware.
• Coordinates with contractor management and government personnel to ensure that the problem has been properly defined and that the solution will satisfy the government’s requirement.
• Uses various programming languages to develop testing scripts
• Ensures software meets quality standards according to client requirements
• Ensures software meets all STIG mandates

Required Skills:

• Active TOP SECRET clearance and SCI eligible
• 3-7 years of relevant IT engineering, and or relevant analyst expertise
• Provide expert knowledge with regards to software development planning, analysis, testing, integration, and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience supporting DoD Command and Control Systems
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Cybersecurity software development - JFHQ DoDIN

Cyber Security and IA Compliance Support

Oracle development - Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES)

SME Support for Air Operations Center - Weapons System (AOC-WS)

GCCS-J SME Support for the United States Coast Guard (USCG)Automated NATO Database Interface (ANDI)

GCCS-J Installation and Deployment Support

• Bachelor degree or higher in IT engineering, Cybersecurity or other technical area
• Experience using one or more of the following tools: Jira, C++, Agile methodologies, Java, Integration test tools
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Workshop facilitation
