We are currently seeking Mid-Level Test Engineer(s) to support our DoD customer. The Mid-Level Test Engineer(s) provides developer support during Government acceptance testing and operational testing of capabilities. Government Test events include but are not limited to, Systems Integration Testing, Acceptance Testing, User Acceptance, Interoperability Testing and conformance testing), Security Compliance Testing and Cyber Table Top (CTT) events.
Location: Primary Fort Meade, Maryland/Secondary Contractor Site
Start Date: Estimated June 2023
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies.
- Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
- Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
- Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
- Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
- Uses automation to streamline and automate manual processes.ยท Generate data and execute test cases to determine how software performs.
Required Skills:
- Active TOP SECRET clearance and SCI eligible
- 3-7 years of relevant IT engineering and testing experience
- Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Ability to supervise others as necessary
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience supporting DoD Command and Control Systems
- Experience developing and documenting test scripts for software systems
- Experience testing software implementations
- Knowledge of automation testing tools
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or other technical field
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Workshop facilitation
