PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Midway Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Midway department. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consistently provides a SHOW experience that exceeds guests’ expectations by empowering employees to use their good judgment and common sense without compromising venue safety and security
• Handle guest and employee concerns and complaints
• Observe game area for irregular conduct by operators or guests and address/report any such occurrences appropriately
• Set up Midway Operator staff for success through briefings and being responsive to their business needs
• Maintain daily sign-in sheet and log personnel hours daily
• Correctly update daily logs concerning employee hours, games that need repair, etc… and communicate daily to the Midway leadership team
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Oversee breaks to be done in an efficient manner as to not sacrifice service
• Work closely with fellow Midway Supervisors in a smooth and efficient way
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager of Midway Operations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, money handling
• Ability to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience working in a similar resort setting
• Work varied shift, to include weekends and holidays.
