Job description

Our company is currently seeking an experienced Welder and Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding a variety of metal components and structures, as well as performing repairs and maintenance on existing equipment.

1st Shift and 2nd Shift available

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal components and structures
  • Use various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick welding) to join metal pieces together
  • Operate metalworking equipment such as shears, brakes, and plasma cutters
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on existing equipment and structures
  • Perform quality checks on completed projects to ensure they meet industry standards
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder and fabricator
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
  • Familiarity with metalworking equipment such as shears, brakes, and plasma cutters
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have own set of tools and transportation
