We are hiring experienced MIG welders for production and prototyping! are are producers of mechanical and hydraulic based lift systems looking for quality MIG Welders who might be in the market for a new career!

Work from specifications, prints, and instructions. Maintain inventory, determine needs and requisition the replenishment of depleted stock in preparation for welding operations. Job duty details include:

• Operate appropriate equipment to cut raw material to size or drill holes in proper location.
• Layout, fit, or aligns parts in prescribed fixtures where applicable and tack weld parts as required. Fabricate fixtures and special holding devices as required.
• Arc weld special prototypes and new products as required ensuring proper welding operations.
• Make recommendations as to product and production improvements.
• Thread consumable electrode wire through feed rolls and welding head or through portable welding gun.
• Turn knobs to set current, voltage and synchronize feeds of wire with speed of welding action. Start equipment and observe welding action.
• Visually check work for adherence to specification.
• Make adjustments as necessary for proper welding operations.
• Operate portable grinder to remove surplus slag, flux, spatter & burns.
• Perform any variety of operations within group to maintain the flow of work.
• Notify supervisor of any unusual equipment or operating problems.

Use square, tape, grinder, hand torch, saw, drill, hand tools, forklift truck, and hoist.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
