Serco is hiring a Military Electronics Engineering Manager for our production facility supporting build-to-print production and repair efforts for military antenna programs located in Ludlow, MA. Serco specializes in areas including obsolescence engineering, systems engineering services, test equipment design and build, and field engineering services, and maintains a near-field and compact antenna test ranges.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the daily activities of a team of electrical, mechanical and RF engineers and technicians to support production, troubleshooting, testing, reverse engineering of obsolete equipment and new design work.
- Prioritize engineering activities related to production task execution, issue resolution and troubleshooting to ensure delivery in accordance with task performance requirements.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies related to production activities with the help of procurement, logistics and production personnel.
- Lead the production engineering team to maintain the project production configurations, documentation, and Engineering Change activities.
- Work with procurement to resolve design, documentation, and vendor issues
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 plus years experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or RF engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in antenna designs for shipboard, submarine, airborne and ground-based systems.
- Thorough understanding of DoD documentation and configuration management and familiarity with production hardware technical documentation development.
- Experience with the management and execution of small to medium sized engineering tasks requiring the coordination of multi-functional groups to successfully achieve project objectives.
- Troubleshooting experience in a production environment.
- Able to review, interpret and decompose technical drawings and parts lists to determine task order material requirements.
- Understanding of IDIQ, FFP, CPFF, LPTA contracting terms.
- Experience leading teams of individuals, and evaluating performance.
