**The shift is a rotating 12 hour schedule**
**1.0 FUNCTION**
To maintain, dismantle, install machinery and mechanical service equipment associated with the smooth, efficient, and safe operations of the plant while working with fellow employees. Must complete SAP data entry to include; written notifications, time input, fail codes, comments. Sign in/out – getting parts from warehouse.
**2.0 ORGANIZATION**
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
**3.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**
Able to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work-orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Dismantle, troubleshoot, diagnose, and overhaul pumps, overhaul screw conveyors, conveyors, compactors and rotor feeders.
Install mechanical seals.
Ability to perform equipment alignment using dial indicators and laser alignment.
Observes the functioning of installed equipment or systems and determines the replacement needs. Orders new material required and plans working procedures to complete replacement.
The ability to acknowledge correct size on pumps, suction or discharge.
Acknowledge the difference between centrifugal pump and a positive displacement pump.
Knowledge of rotation of rotor feeder.
Knowledge on how to set timing on shaking conveyors.
Informs supervisor of potentially dangerous mechanical equipment or of recurring equipment malfunctions as well as informing supervisor of corrective action taken to correct malfunctions.
Install and/or make changes on machines and mechanical equipment in a facility.
Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality. Perform testing of equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime.
Must complete SAP data entry to include written notifications, time input, fail codes, comments.
Required to Sign in and out MRO warehouse parts.
Works with others crafts to complete jobs and performs other duties that may be assigned by supervisor which includes assisting other departments or outside the scope of duties.
As needed, will be required to oversee contractors.
Responsible for completing all required clean -up list.
Performs other duties that may be assigned by supervisor.
Forklift operation- moving equipment with carry deck or crane.
Kitting jobs.
**4.0 HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE) Specific Responsibilities**
Initiates near miss reports, incident reports and accident reports.
Participate in all aspects of the safety program including safety meeting attendance, Computer Based Training participation, and reading procedures.
Completing Equipment certifications
Assist in updating operating and emergency procedure manuals.
Performing work within all safety policies and procedures.
The ability to recognize and report safety hazards.
Complete required offsite training (mandatory)
**5.0 QUALIFICATION CRITERIA**
Good communication skills to include verbal and written.
Able to follow instructions and all Standard Operating Procedures (SPO’s).
Interact and cooperator with plant employees and co-workers.
This individual must be able to multi-task efficiently and work at a fast pace.
Must be able to exercise judgment in determining work sequence and in the selection of proper material, tools to perform the job.
Employees are required to wear steel toe footwear, protective eyewear, and rubber gloves.
**6.0 QUALITY-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
Understands and adheres to the site’s Safety Standards and Improvement Process.
Fully understand the jobs specific quality assurance responsibilities.
Providing a responsive culture and a positive work environment.
**7.0 REQUIREMENTS**
High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Completion of formal apprenticeship program or three-year training program.
1-2 years of proven experience as a Journeyman Millwright.
Required to perform shift work with some overtime, hold-overs and call-outs as needed.
Ability to wear respiratory protective equipment (No beards) and protective eyewear.
Successfully complete any and all required training programs to include offsite training.
Successfully complete all required equipment certifications to include; forklift, cranes, carry decks, etc.
Pass physical & drug testing.
Ability to be in an environment with sometimes-extreme conditions such as relating to the following: temperature, humidity, or noise.
**8.0 COMMENTS:**
Candidate should be mechanically inclined and have the ability to work well and communicate with others. This position is exposed to hazardous environmental conditions being used in the manufacturing process and must use the required PPE protocols. Hardhat and protective eyewear, hearing protection Tyvek clothing, steal toed
shoes, and full face respirator. Must be aware of exposure to hazardous moving equipment and machinery, electrical hazards, etc.

Salary info:
