URGENT PERM- Mobile Laboratory Manager- $95k-$105k-
Annual; Day Shift; Las Vegas, NV
Description:
Ideal Candidate: Candidate needs six years of leadership experience and be very skilled in lab. Candidate should be very positive and continue to bring positivity to the team. Client is very big on culture and leadership skills.
Shift:
- Shift: Days (ask for shift hours upon interview).
- Weekends: Possible.
- Hours Per Week: 40 hrs.
Pay Details:
- Rate: $95-$105k Annually OR $45- $50/ hr.
- Rate based on a 40 hour workweek.
Requirements:
- COVID 19 Vaccinated Required, Proof must be submitted in candidate packet at time of submission or candidate will be automatically declined. Requirements are subject to change at a future time per client.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in medical technology, microbiology chemistry, biology, or related field.
- Possession of Clinical Laboratory Scientist’s license issued by the State of California or equivalent license approved by LFS (Laboratory Field Services).
- MUST HAVE FIVE YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE RUNNING/SUPERVISING A LABORATORY TEAM.
- Must have at least six (6) years’ experience (combined testing and supervisory experience) in a high-complexity clinical laboratory, with evidence of increasing supervisory responsibility.
- Must have relevant testing and supervisory experience.
- Must include one year experience EACH in any TWO of the following laboratory specialties:
- Chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology.
- Must have a working knowledge of and facility with:
- Quality improvement processes and quality systems.
- Laboratory information systems.
- Basic supervisory skills and standard human resources policies and procedures (interviewing, counseling, annual performance review, performance evaluation development and deployment, termination)
- New instrumentation evaluation and acquisition; reagent purchasing and inventory.
- Occurrence management practices and use in internal audit, continuous quality improvement.
- Facilities and safety policies and procedures
- Updated Resumé/Work History.
- Pertinent Skill Checklist.
- 2 Current Supervisory Professional References.
