MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT (PER DIEM POSITION)
$22-$45/per case Lehigh and Northampton County
Position Summary:
ExamOne/DKN Paramedical Services, an affiliate office located in Allentown, PA, is seeking an Independent and highly organized " Mobile" - Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our team as an “ Independent Contractor” for morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend morning appointments. You make your own schedule of appointment availability in our portal. Services in home range from 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on what service is required.
ExamOne provides centrifuge, EKG machine, blood and urine kits, PPE, and an Apple Ipad if enough availability warrants it.

Responsibilities:
- Duties include travelling to client's homes to collect blood and urine samples, medical histories and obtain vital signs.
- Collect specialty blood draws for clients in clinical trials.
- Centrifuge blood samples.
- Specimens are shipped out Federal Express from your residence or dropped off at an authorized Federal Express Store.
- Call assigned clients to schedule appointments.
- Monitor storage and inventory of supplies.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 1 year of work experience in phlebotomy is required.
- Minimum of 100 successful blood draws. Recent experience preferred.
- Experience in Medical terminology is required for recording health histories.
- Ability to take accurate physical measurements.
- Skilled at taking manual blood pressure.
- EKG experience is a plus. Will provide a refresher orientation if needed.
- Must have (or willing to get) BP equipment, scale, tape measure, computer with internet access, and SCANNING or faxing capabilities.
- Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within a 20-mile radius from your home. Bonus mileage is paid for cases over 30 miles round trip.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
Sign on Bonus given after 6 months of completing a minimum of 150 Exam and blood draw services. $300.00
