The Directorate for Internal Audit and Assurance Business Support Hub is looking for a Modern Apprentice. This is a busy and interesting role, you will join a small support team, with a supportive team culture and good development opportunities, given the wide variety of work within the Directorate.
In this role you will undertake a variety of administrative tasks to support the corporate function of the directorate.
You will also undertake a Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration at SCQF Level 6 which will be centrally supported the Modern Apprentice Network within Scottish Government.
Delivering a high standard of Business Support across the Directorate by:
- Monitoring and dealing with frequent requests to the Business Support Hub Mailbox
- Preparing customer satisfaction surveys to issue to clients and presenting this information to senior management
- Providing administrative support for meetings and events, including making bookings, arranging catering, securing require equipment and taking minutes.
- Arranging and booking hospitality, travel and accommodation through Scottish Government purchasing systems
- Assisting the Directorate team with general administrative duties as required including supporting our internal audit team with audit software
- Contribute to routine Management Information reports
- Providing financial support by raising purchase order, receipting invoices and monitoring expense claims using Scottish Government financial systems.
- Maintaining audit trail for financial transactions, including retention of appropriate documents and approvals.
- Contributing to continuous improvement work across the Directorate
