Finex Credit Union seeks dynamic Mortgage Officer

If you want more stability and a better mix of base salary and commissions, this could be the place for you. We are looking for a seasoned originator with career advancement ambitions. You will work on portfolio mortgages in house and originating mortgages in our CUSO on behalf of our various credit union partners. Your expertise is needed to take us to the next level as our credit union successfully transitions to this new purchase environment. We are a primarily remote work employer that has developed mortgage expertise over the past three decades.

This opportunity for a better work life balance and high potential income does not exit in many other credit unions or banks. Background and Responsibilities include:

• Current NMLS License and background in mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking experience required

• Mortgage loan originations that focus on great service, quick response times, and resolving pipeline related problems.

• Managing the oversight of leads that close ad making recommendations on difficult deals based on sound underwriting criteria.

• Generating new mortgage loan applications building excellent relationships with Credit Union partners.

• College degree and background in FHA, USDA, CHFA, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae originations preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
