*Hiring Immediately* We are a startup moving company with a growing list of clients ready for us to move them. We are looking for experienced, reliable workers capable of leading a team. We are just getting started and we want to reward our early employees through our generous compensation and incentive programs.

Compensation:

• Starting Hourly: $22-$30/HR + tips (Starting pay depends on relevant work experience)
• Retention bonus after 2 years
• Eligible for Annual Bonus
• Occasional employee meals
• Eligible for ~10% raise every 6 months. $26/HR minimum after 1 year and $28/HR minimum after 2 years as a Lead Mover. Employees with 5+ years at Later neighbor Moving will be on a salary.
• Eligible for employee benefits after 2 years (healthcare, 401(k), PTO, etc.)
• 30-40 Hours per week average
• Paid drive time to and from jobs

Lead Mover Description:

• Ensure the team always remains professional, works safe, and moves efficiently.
• Drive a 16 - 26 foot box truck to the customer's origination address.
• Perform a walk through with the customers to understand the scope of work and develop a plan with your team.
• Efficiently prep furniture.
• Use dollies and proper lifting technique to move furniture and boxes from the customer's home into the moving truck.
• Drive the box truck to the customer's destination address.
• Unload furniture and boxes, and arrange to the customer's satisfaction.
• Review contract with the customer when the job is complete. Obtain signatures and receive payment.
• Typical moving work load is either 1 house move or 2 apartment moves per day.

Lead Mover Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License and clean Driving Record (No CDL Required). 21+ years old per insurance requirements.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Excellent Problem solving and time management skills
• Must be able to lift heavy items (80+ lbs) and carry them up and down stairs.
• Must be willing to work in the heat of summer, sometimes up to 8–12-hour shifts.
• Previous Box Truck Driving experience is required.
• Must be able to pass a background check

We're looking for someone with a background in moving and driving a truck. He or she should be trustworthy, energetic and an excellent problem solver who can work well on a team. Possible job duties include loading, unloading, transporting and distributing materials from one location to another. A Driver/Mover should be safety-conscious when operating a vehicle and have exceptional customer service skills.
