POSITION SUMMARY

This position has the responsibility to perform the duties of moving furniture, tables, chairs and other items from the warehouse to campus offices. Other duties to be performed are setting up materials for events throughout campus.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Move materials to and from the warehouse to offices as requested.
  • Setup materials for events around campus.
  • Work with Client Services staff to determine best methods of delivery and setup per the client's request
  • Provide input on safety and efficiency techniques to delivering request.
  • Must be willing to have flexible hours in order to accommodate setup and delivery per the requested event dates and times.
  • Must maintain appropriate attendance, be reliable and accountable for time management and efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Work Schedule: Will require availability after normal business hours and occassional weekends.

Education: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Must have ability to understand floor plans and space capacities.
  • Experience in a team-oriented environment.
Communication/Language: Ability to read, listen to and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write and communicate simple correspondence. Excellent oral communication skills are required.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, Google, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use ADP time keeping system.

Certificates & Licenses: Valid United States driver's license required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively within leadership, technician, and client audiences.
  • Ability to produce a quality work product in a prompt, safe and efficient manner.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment will include both indoor and outdoor locations around campus. Work tasks will require the movement throughout buildings, through lawn spaces and into parking lots.
