Job Title - Municipal Civil Engineer

Pay Rate - $80,000-$100,000

Location: Sinking Spring, PA

Job Description:

• Execution and supervision of engineering and planning activities including working closely with code enforcement officer, engineering and planning personnel, and clerical staff.
• Management of multiple engineering projects.
• Review and presentation of subdivisions, land developments and stormwater management plans and zoning applications.
• Preparation and review of proposed Land Use policies, Zoning Ordinance regulations and Stormwater Management Ordinance provisions.
• Provide assistance to the Public Works Department in regard to required street improvements.
• Occasionally accompany the Director to meetings of the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, Infrastructure Committee, Transportation Advisory Committee and other municipal bodies
• Attendance at meetings of other groups as required by the Director of Engineering and Planning includes but not limited to municipal, state, or Federal officials as required.
• Attendance of staff meetings with Directors to coordinate Township functions.
• Preparation of construction specifications and contract documents.
• Coordination and supervision of Township's municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) and dam inspection programs.
• Preparation of annual budgets for engineering activities and certain public works activities.
• Communication with Township citizens, engineering and legal consultants, developers, suppliers, and officials of other governmental agencies regarding engineering services and issues.
• Coordination and review of sanitary sewer project and facilities.
• Performance of engineering calculations utilizing established engineering design criteria.
