We are currently seeking a Network Security Firewall Architect - Addison, TX to join our team in Addison, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
**PLease Note: Due to the onsite client requirement, this position requires the selected employee to be fully Covid 19 vaccinated on or before the targeted start date (2 weeks from time of an offer acceptance), to the extent required by applicable law. If selected, please know you will need to be flexible to these expectations.
In this role, the successful candidatewouldbeproviding advanced expertise in a complex network security environment. Provides and maintains a reliable technical infrastructure to effectively serve the customer community. This will include maintainingand troubleshooting various network firewalls, proxies, appliances, responding promptly and effectively to customer problems and either directly resolving the problems or escalating to the appropriate resource and monitoring its effective resolution.

Schedule Awareness: The candidate will also be required to work independently and remotely duringa9hoursshift, should be willing to workinrotating shifts if needed - that may include nightsand on call support

Position's General Duties and Tasks:
- Review and implement Firewall Architecture, Rules, Policies & templated in the customer's environment
- Configure firewalls for usage, manage their day-to-day operations and perform regular maintenance through upgrades and patches
- Configuration/administration of software and hardware components of firewalls and other portions of security infrastructure
- Track and manage licenses status for renewal&upgrades
- Support and maintaincontent filtering,VPN,firewalls,and other network traffic managementsystems
- Fully test, monitor and document system changes through change process
- Monitor security devices and applications for performance problemsand Uptime
- Schedule after hours maintenance windows and coordinate customer notifications
- Ensure tickets, tasks and projects are completed or resolved within SLA
- Assist in documentation and monitoring for new projects and existing infrastructure
- Write and maintain documentation on process procedures, device statuses, firewall block lists, and other important technical areas
- Create diagrams of network topologies and record details of troubleshooting processes
- Adhere to client policy requirements for security systems &follow policies and standards to support network security and regulatory requirements
- Support and provide evidence and services to audit teams in a timely manner
- Collaborate with Cyber Security Team along with Network Operations to complete projects on schedule
- Engage with clientstorelayinformation about the project and troubleshooting allissues&commits to deliverables with customers and/or management by meeting project deadlines

Required Qualification:
- 8+ Years Network Security-Firewall Specific -Palo Alto Experience
- Must have Security-Endpoint protection, detection, and response experience -Palo Alto Specific
Highly Preferred Skills and Experience:
- PCNSE certification
- Degree holder preferred
- Strong communication skills: verbally and written
- Client Facing experience
