13-week training program for New Grad RNs
Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Division has developed a robust, structured, and standardized program for RN’s who have recently graduated from nursing school. This program is called the “Nurse Internship Program.”
This 13 week program includes:
- New Employee Orientation (NEO)
- Tour & Scavenger Hunt
- Unit based orientation w/preceptor
- 2 scheduled 4-6 hour skills lab sessions
- Education via live webinars and Select University modules
- Observation/Shadow shifts with multiple disciplines
- Critical Thinking Scenarios
- CNO Weekly Huddles
- Guided Learning
- Calendar
