Roswell Park Care Network is looking to hire a New Patient Scheduler in one of our our Williamsville, NY offices.

The New Patient Scheduler is multifaceted role integral to our busy practice.

Brief Description of Duties:

• Greets all patients and visitors to the practice and presents as the face of Breast Care of WNY
• Welcomes all visitors in a professional and friendly manner, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
• Directs visitor (drug reps, salespersons, etc.) appropriately.
• Coordinates and prepares patient’s appointments/itinerary.
• Registers patients in the EMR system which may mean entering information given verbally or on registration forms.
• Completes chart prep and protocols for all new patients for multiple locations.
• Timely and accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record
• Answer phone calls, take messages and make appointments.
• May collect co-pays or other monies.
• Prints encounter form with updated information, or updates information on the encounter form.
• Has patient sign the financial agreement, receipt of privacy policy, benefits assignment, etc.
• Aids patients and family members; refers questions to the appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
• This position will be on-site at our Breast Care of Western New York location.

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
• 2 years experience with Microsoft products
• Previous medical office experience preferred
• Medent software experience preferred
