Position Requirements:

Mancor is looking for a highly motivated Technical Project Manager / New Product Implementation Engineer to work with a skilled cross-functional team of Machinists, Programmers and Designers. Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the incumbent will manage the development and launch of new part projects. Strong communication skills are also necessary as this position interacts with many departments in the company as well as our customers. We are looking for a hands-on candidate who isn’t afraid to take charge and lead projects to a successful implementation. This is a hybrid position encompassing both technical and commercial aspects of projects.

Responsibilities:

· Leads development of new product launches as well as manages the project timeline

· Works with engineering and design resources to develop manufacturing processes

· Development of work instructions for above tasks

· Provides guidance to toolroom while building and implementing candidate’s designs

· Assist in plant continuous improvement projects

· Assist sales in technical aspects of quoting

· Communicate with customer project teams

· Other appropriate tasks as seen fits

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Management. Background in project management.

· 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

· PMP certification a plus

· Experience with automation / robotics a plus

· 3D modeling using SolidWorks (or equivalent)

· Mechanical design skills

· Knowledge of GD&T

· Experience with manufacturing process design

· Experience with Microsoft office (Outlook and Excel a must)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
